Guardian & Keyholder

A Guardian looks after a Place in the Ward. A Keyholder helps.

Claiming a Place

Scan the claim card posted at the location. The first person to claim it becomes its Guardian and can begin looking after its Place Card.

Looking after a Place

Guardians can update the things a Place says about itself: its hours, photos, logo, description, contact information, tags and menus.

Whatever is happening right now goes to the Ticker.

Changes happen on the Place Card itself, so you can see what everyone else will see as you make them.

Keyholders

Other people who work at the Place can become Keyholders. A Guardian decides what each Keyholder is allowed to do.

Someone becomes a Keyholder by scanning the same claim card you did. The first person to scan it is the Guardian; everyone after that is a Keyholder.

Keyholders start with no permissions. Give them only the parts of the Place they need to look after.

Reviews

Guardians and permitted Keyholders can reply to reviews. The reply comes from the Place, not from the individual person writing it.

They cannot change or remove someone else’s review.

Your codes

A claim card establishes who looks after a Place. A check-in card establishes that someone has been there.

They may live at the same address, but they do different jobs.
