Claiming your home

Scan the code for your house, loft or apartment. You can verify your residence with an invitation from the building, another resident, a linked device, or someone who runs the Ward.

If none of those is available, your claim can wait until someone can verify it.

The Lobby

Every home in the Ward has a Lobby of its own, whether it’s a house, a loft or an apartment building. Only verified residents of that building can read or post there.

Lobby posts are anonymous, even to your neighbors. You can see which posts are yours; nobody else can.

Residents can also welcome a neighbor who is waiting for verification or share the building’s invitation code. Keep that code among the people who live there.

Staying a Resident

Residence lasts for one year. After that, the Ward asks you to verify that you still live there.

If you move before then, you can give up your residence at any time.
