Standing
The Ward recognizes your relationship to the neighborhood. You might be someone who’s around a lot, someone who lives here, someone who looks after a place, or several of those things at once.
These aren’t accounts or membership levels. They’re things that become true about you by being here and taking part.
Townie — you’re aroundYou spend time in the neighborhood and can take part in its public life.
Resident — you live hereYour home is in the Ward.
Guardian — you look after this placeYou manage a Place and the information it shares.
Keyholder — you work hereA Guardian has given you permission to help look after a Place.
Courier — you carryWhere Cary is available, you can carry things for your neighbors.
Everything in Getting Around is open to a Visitor. You don’t need Standing to look, read or search.
You can hold more than one badge at once. A Resident who runs a shop might also be its Guardian; becoming a Resident or Guardian makes you a Townie immediately.
